Happy Easter everyone! Setting the mood with some fun photos taken a week ago back in Medellin which is somewhere in Northern Cebu. It actually took us quite awhile to find this place. It was probably more than 4 hours 'cause we still had to stop for lunch and we got kinda' lost somewhere along the way. Hahaha! It even rained a bit but it was worth it though, we still had so much fun jumping off the different planks in the island.

Summer is here and I got to kickstart mine with Closeup Forever Summer! The music festival was held in Globe Circuit Event Grounds and surprisingly a lot of Manila drivers didn't know where that was. But anyways, we finally found the place at around 5 in the afternoon and we had one amazing night ahead of us with dj's like Mars Miranda, Helena and the headliner of the night… Alesso!

Started my first day in Manila with a theme park bang! I'm just glad I got to enjoy the rest of my day even though I had a two-hour delay on my flight. We spent the whole day in Enchanted Kingdom yesterday. I can barely remember what it was like the last time I was there since that was ten years ago. I really don't remember it being that hot. We were getting kind of sleepy from the heat. But we had a lot of fun though especially since we made sure none of us backed out from the rides we were scared of. Hahaha.

On the second day of the festival, I had to buy new sunglasses 'cause I lost the pair I brought the day before. Lesson learned. Always wear cheap sunnies to a concert. Day two was full of a lot more exciting artists like Kendrick Lamar and of course, the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

"Bitch, don't kill my vibe…" Who hasn't heard of Kendrick Lamar!? The moment he came on stage, the screams were so much louder and the crowd got so much wilder.

But of course the crowd got so much more intense when the number one headliner of the festival made it to the stage. And that's none other than the Red Hot Chili Peppers!

Here's Flea!!! Coolest bassist I've ever seen live! He was even doing handstands on stage at one point of the concert. Too bad I was having too much fun, I didn't get a chance to take a photo.

Anthony Kiedis!!!

And as all good things come to an end, the two-day festival ended with a bang with some amazing fireworks. I'm missing 7107 so much! Hopefully, they're gonna have another one next year with an even more awesome lineup of artists.

Guess who's back…

Well, I can't believe I've been on a blog hiatus for almost 8 months now! It's about time I start to resurrect this lonely blog of mine. And it's the perfect time too since today's my last day of finals! I'm glad I can finally have a lot more free time on my hands. No more projects and research papers! For now.. that is. I still got college quickly coming up. But anyways, high school is so close to over for me. I'm graduating in 22 days and I'm so excited that I might even put a countdown timer 'til graduation day here on my blog. Hahaha!

Since I've been gone for so long, I owe it to this blog to make my come back post as amazing as possible so I've decided to make my first post about my 7107 IMF experience. I'm sure a lot of you know what Coachella is. Well just like California, the Philippines has its own two-day outdoor musical festival called 7107 IMF. The festival was held in Clark, Pampanga and I wasn't sure about going since I've never been to Clark and this year was its first year of launching 7107. No regrets though. It was so much fun that I hope they're gonna have it again next year!

So the daytime lineup consisted mostly of pop and indie bands. Asteroids Galaxy Tour was a band I didn't really know much about. But, I'm glad I heard them play 'cause I really loved their song "Heart Attack"

Then the crowd definitely got all excited when Kid Ink showed up...

This kid was too cute. I couldn't resist not taking a photo of him. Cool kid right there.

And here's Kaskade! One of the big headliners of 7107 that played on the first day of the festival.

Stay tuned for part two in my next post!

I apologize for not updating in a month. Senior year's such a busy year! I'm still in the middle of trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. I don't think I'm gonna be a full time blogger forever! Hahaha. Any suggestions on what I should take up for college?

All these photos are making me miss all the summer vibes!
